Contractions, Already...

I couldn't believe it last Friday when I started to have Braxton Hicks contractions already! They're not painful, but they are a little irritating... I'm not sure if it's the 100 mile an hour pace I've been keeping up or just my body reacting differently to this pregnancy, but my body is already trying to prepare itself for the birth of this baby!!!
Not to worry... I discussed it with my Dr and as long as I am not experiencing any pain along with the contractions and as long as they're not consistent... there's nothing to worry about!
I didn't start having the BH contractions w/ Brady until I was much further along, but then again he was my first... and you don't always understand what your body's going through or notice the little things right away. This time I'm picking up on the little things right away... I felt my baby's kicks a little earlier and now I'm feeling the BH contractions a lot earlier as well...
I've officially surpassed our half-way point!! How exciting!! The plan is to have our scheduled C-Section around 38 - 39 weeks to avoid going into labor on my own and having to rush the C-section. Since I had a Cesarean delivery with Brady, we decided to stick to the same delivery method, the Dr thinks that it is the safest. We are planning on January 24th for the big day (also my Grandma Zindel's Birthday) as long as the Dr gives the ok... which would make me just a little over half-way there! I am 19 weeks, 3 days today!
Wow! This baby is going to be here before we know it... and I can't wait to meet our little girl! Brady's going to be such a good big brother!!! It's amazing how fast the second pregnancy goes, I'm trying to just enjoy every minute of it...
